General Weather Description:
The Pasadena and Los Angeles area has what is called a Mediterranean climate. The means that summers are dry with warm to hot temperatures. Winters are quite mild. Although the area is very sunny and receives only 15 inches of rain per year, most of it arrives in the winter and spring. The spring and fall have generally mild days and cool nights.
