General Weather Description:

 

Being located along the Blue Ridge Mountains, Lexington has four distinct but generally mild seasons.  Most of central Virginia has not had more than a foot of snow in a single snowstorm since 1996. The spring features warm days and cool nights. Fall lacks the brilliant foliage colors of New England but boasts warm days or comfortably cool days well into November.
