General Weather Description:

 

Middletown enjoys a classic four season New England climate. The summers are typically hot and muggy, at least by New England standards, while winters are typically cold with frequent snowfall.  The first snowfall typically occurs in mid to late November and the last snow of the season usually occurs in late March. Thunderstorms occur commonly during the summer. Spring is cool and pleasant but doesn’t arrive until mid April. Fall features brilliant foliage but arrives early . . . typically by the middle of September.
